About the role
- Manage day-to-day operations of the low voltage department, maintaining customer relationships and department sales
- Manage the low voltage team, including employee development and training
- Oversee the department budget, including project invoicing, procurement, and forecasting of projects in the sales pipeline
- Makes personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis, and travel to client sites as necessary to scope projects
- Maintain and publish accurate as-built drawings and cable testing results.
- Seek out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Serve as an escalation point for technicians and backup for technicians who are sick or unavailable
- 5+ years in a similar role, including management and technical experience
- Current BICSI RCDD certification
- Strong technical background
- Commitment to top-notch service
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
