Job Description Job DescriptionAbout the Role: Printech Business Systems Inc is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Wide Format Printing & Vinyl Installer to join our team in New York, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to bring creative projects to life — from large-scale prints to precision vinyl installations.
Responsibilities:
Operate wide format printers to produce high-quality banners, signage, wraps, and graphics Prepare and process print files, ensuring color accuracy and proper sizing before production Cut, weed, and laminate vinyl graphics using plotters and cutting equipment Install vinyl wraps, decals, wall graphics, and window graphics on various surfaces Perform surface preparation and cleaning prior to vinyl application Inspect finished products for quality control and make adjustments as needed Maintain and perform routine maintenance on wide format printing equipment Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines and client specifications
Requirements:
Prior experience in wide format printing and/or vinyl installation required Proficiency with wide format printers (Roland, Mimaki, HP, or similar brands preferred) Knowledge of vinyl application techniques, including wet and dry installation methods Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Physical ability to lift equipment and work on ladders or elevated surfaces as needed Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills
