We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, process validation, and customer quality requirements. This role will serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers while leading corrective actions, root-cause analysis, nonconformance resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Duties: Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers and address quality issues, scorecards, and qualification requirements. Lead CAPA, 8D, complaint investigations, audits, and root-cause analysis. Investigate returned products and resolve nonconforming material. Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, SPC processes, and quality documentation. Support product development, process validation, and new manufacturing processes. Lead cross-functional quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in print and design reviews and identify product characteristics requiring quality controls. Develop inspection controls and sampling procedures. Ensure products and processes meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate quality activities with customers, Engineering, Manufacturing, and internal teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of quality experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Direct customer quality experience required. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Experience with CAPA, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, process validation, audits, and nonconforming material. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
