Job Description Job description: KS Staffing Group is currently seeking experienced Cable Technicians long-term in a telecommunications and low voltage environment.
Job Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat 5e, Cat 6, fiber as needed)Perform cable routing, pulling, dressing, and labeling Install and wire low voltage panels and telecommunications equipment Rack and stack network equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all site safety and compliance regulations Qualifications 2+ years of structured cabling or telecommunications experience Experience with low voltage panel installation Ability to terminate RJ45, patch panels, and network drops Basic understanding of fiber is a plus Ability to work from ladders and lifts Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
