About the role

Plant Manager - Own the Floor. Drive the Results. Hatboro, PARun the plant like it's your business You'll be the person everyone looks to when it comes to what gets built, when it ships, and how it performs. From raw materials coming in the door to finished systems going out, you own the entire manufacturing process. You'll shape workflow on the floor, tighten up scheduling, and keep lean manufacturing from being a buzzword and make it a habit. This is a demanding role with real authority - hiring, firing, opening, closing, shipping quotas, quality control - it all runs through you. If you've run a manufacturing operation end-to-end and love the pressure of tight deadlines, we want to talk to you. What You'll Work On You'll be the central hub for people, product, and process across the plant: End-to-end manufacturing of systems from order to shipment Manufacturing floor workflow and work-in-process Raw material intake and availability to support production Project and production scheduling to meet tight deadlines Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement Shipping quotas and on-time delivery performance Quality control across all product lines Customer relationships tied to production and delivery Your challenge: keep everything moving - fast, lean, and on spec.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Owning all systems being manufactured from start to finish
  • Organizing and managing workflow processes on the manufacturing floor
  • Implementing new orders into production and aligning resources
  • Overseeing raw material needs to support production schedules
  • Coordinating project and production scheduling to meet tight demands
  • Driving lean manufacturing practices throughout day-to-day operations
  • Managing hiring and firing decisions for plant personnel
  • Handling opening and closing responsibilities for the facility
  • Ensuring all shipping quotas are met or exceeded
  • Maintaining quality control across all manufactured systems
  • Managing customer relations tied to order status, timing, and quality
  • Multi-tasking across people, product, and process in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven background as a General Manager, Plant Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership role
  • Strong organization skills and command of manufacturing workflow processes
  • Clear understanding of manufacturing process from raw material to finished product
  • Experience with lean manufacturing concepts
  • Track record managing scheduling to meet tight deadlines and shipping demands
  • Comfort with full personnel responsibility, including hiring and firing
  • Ability to manage customer relationships related to production and delivery
  • High capacity to multi-task in a demanding, fast-moving environment
  • Why This Opportunity?
This isn't a narrow operations role - you are responsible for the whole manufacturing picture, start to finish. You'll have real authority over people, process, quality, and output, not just a seat at the table. The expectations are high, but so is the upside: the right person will prosper and grow with the company. Interested? Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
