About the role
Lab Operations & Inventory Specialist Our client, a business manufacturing and supply company, is looking for a Lab Operations & Inventory Specialist for their Painted Post, NY 14870 location.
Responsibilities:
Sorting, organizing, inventorying, and managing lab equipment.
Entering lab equipment data into an inventory management system.
Learning, using, and training on an inventory management system.
Looking up and documenting equipment specifications.
Organizing and managing lab space in a MSE department.
Inspecting and documenting lab spaces for safety and generic issues.
Working with the department to keep the lab spaces clean.
Researching, ordering, and setting up laboratory equipment.
Developing new methods involving AI to find equipment that enables building and prototyping cutting edge equipment.
Requirements:
Organization and documentation.
Prior experience in a laboratory setting.
Online research of lab parts and equipment.
Able to process and implement safe lab protocols and equipment.
The ability to learn client systems and use them appropriately.
Strong communication and presentation skills (MS Office programs).
Desired Experience/Skills:
Layout or CAD skills (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Visio)
