Location: Miami (Doral), FL, Hybrid Monday-Thursday with Fridays Remote Pay Rate: 60-70/hrConversion Salary: $140,000 Duration: 4-6 Month Contract-to-HireAbout the Opportunity Insight Global is seeking a Principal Network Automation / DevOps Engineer to support a global leader in the travel and hospitality industry. This individual will serve as the Network Automation SME, leading initiatives focused on automating network configurations, deploying standardized changes through CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting failed deployments across a large enterprise network. The ideal candidate is an experienced Network Engineer who has moved heavily into automation and NetDevOps, rather than a traditional cloud or application-focused DevOps Engineer.
Must-Have: Qualifications
  • Principal-level Network Engineering or Network Automation experience
  • Strong enterprise routing, switching, and network device configuration experience
  • Hands-on Python and/or Ansible experience for network automation
  • Experience running and supporting CI/CD pipelines used to deploy network or infrastructure configurations
  • Experience automating and deploying standardized or Golden Configurations across routers, switches, and other network devices
  • Ability to troubleshoot failed deployments across code, pipelines, configurations, networks, and devices
  • Ability to read, troubleshoot, and modify automation scripts or code
  • Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to lead network automation and NetDevOps initiatives
Position Overview: As a Principal Network Automation / DevOps Engineer, you will lead network automation initiatives and help advance the organization’s overall NetDevOps strategy. Responsibilities include operating CI/CD processes that deploy network configurations, automating Golden Configurations, validating changes after deployment, and troubleshooting failures across scripts, pipelines, configurations, and network devices. You will serve as the primary Network SME within the automation space, provide technical leadership to the team, and make basic code or script modifications as needed. Success in this role requires deep enterprise networking knowledge combined with hands-on automation, CI/CD, and troubleshooting experience.
