About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Controls Professional (Scheduling) to support complex engineering and capital projects. This senior-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative professional with deep expertise in engineering-driven scheduling, planning, and progress performance management. You'll be a key member of the project controls team, partnering closely with engineering, project management, and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules — ensuring alignment, visibility into progress, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of engineering-driven project schedules, including logic development, sequencing, and critical path identificationCollaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure alignment between design deliverables and project milestonesMonitor schedule performance and progress, identifying variances and recommending corrective actionsPerform schedule risk analysis and scenario planning to support decision-making and project optimizationIntegrate schedule data with project controls functions including cost, risk, and reportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date schedule data within project control systemsSupport the development of baseline schedules, updates, and recovery plans as neededProvide clear and concise reporting on project status, milestones, and key schedule drivers to stakeholdersCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to collect progress data and ensure accurate schedule updatesContribute to continuous improvement of scheduling processes, tools, and best practicesRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum 12 years of experience in project controls, with a strong emphasis on scheduling for engineering and capital projectsDemonstrated experience developing and managing complex, logic-driven project schedulesStrong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling principlesProven ability to analyze schedule performance and communicate impacts effectivelyExperience working in multidisciplinary project environments, particularly with engineering teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across distributed teams#ProjectControls #Scheduling #CPMScheduling #EngineeringJobs #CapitalProjects #ProjectManagement #ConstructionManagement #ProjectScheduling #HiringNow #NowHiring #EngineeringCareers #SeniorProjectControls#LI-AF1
