About the role

Structural Engineer / Application Engineer - Seismic & Support Systems Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to support engineered solutions across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical construction projects. This role combines engineering, project delivery, BIM coordination, and client-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities: Support specification and adoption of engineered support-system solutions Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and seismic requirements Assist with BIM coordination, constructability reviews, and system layouts Support bid packages, submittals, and technical documentation Work directly with engineers, contractors, and project teams throughout project execution Provide technical support for seismic bracing, cable tray, pipe supports, modular supports, and anchoring systems
Requirements: Professional Engineer (PE) license required Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field Experience with seismic design, seismic bracing, nonstructural supports, or related systems Ability to review engineering drawings, calculations, and construction documentation Experience with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, VDC, or construction coordination preferred Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills Ability to work effectively with design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders Preferred Backgrounds Structural Engineer Project Structural Engineer Senior Structural Engineer Design Engineer Application Engineer Project EngineerBIM/VDC Engineer Engineers with seismic, support-system, or constructability experience Technical Focus Areas Seismic bracing systems Pipe support systems Cable-tray supports Modular support structures Strut framing systems Overhead grids Raised-access floorsE&I supports Anchoring and fastening systems Location & Travel Phoenix, AZ preferred Hybrid office, project site, and customer-facing environment Regional travel required Relocation assistance available
