Loom Technician – Night Shift Solmax | Cornelia, GAFull-Time | 12-Hour Night Shift | 8:00 PM–8:00 AMJoin Solmax Solmax is a global leader in geosynthetics manufacturing, providing innovative products used in construction, infrastructure, environmental protection, mining, agriculture, transportation, and other critical industries. We are looking for an experienced Loom Technician to join our manufacturing team. If you have hands-on weaving experience, enjoy troubleshooting equipment, and take pride in keeping production running safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
As a Loom Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing looms within your assigned area to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform preventive maintenance according to the established PM program Troubleshoot and repair major loom breakdowns in a timely manner Respond to and complete fixer flags within the assigned loom area Assist other Loom Technicians and production team members as needed Perform loom pattern changes Record parts used during repairs and maintenance Help maintain equipment reliability and minimize production downtime Follow all company policies, safety requirements, and housekeeping standards Perform additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of 3 years of weaving experience Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a manufacturing/plant environment Schedule 12-hour night shift 8:00 PM–8:00 AMWhy Work at Solmax?
