Role Description:
This full-time, on-site K–8 Classroom Teacher role is based at BENEVOLENCE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY The teacher will design and deliver daily lessons aligned with grade-level standards and the school’s Christian educational mission, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, leading classroom instruction, assessing student progress, providing timely feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will establish a positive, structured classroom environment, communicate regularly with families and colleagues, and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. The role also involves integrating faith-based values into classroom activities in a respectful and age-appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience instructing K–8 students. Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to develop organized, standards-based instructional plans. Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for engaging students, families, and colleagues. Candidates should possess Training and classroom management skills to guide student behavior and support learning. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure is preferred. Experience in K–8 classroom settings and familiarity with differentiated instruction and assessment strategies. Ability to integrate Christian values into teaching while respecting diverse backgrounds of students and families. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
