What You'll Do:
  • Perform EEG, neurodiagnostic testing, and monitoring in various clinical settings
  • Assist with epilepsy monitoring, sEEG, neurotelemetry, and critical care cases
  • Ensure proper setup and calibration of neurodiagnostic equipment
  • Float between Riley Hospital and Methodist as needed, including pediatric and adult patient populations
  • Document findings accurately in Cerner charting system
  • Maintain safety and infection control protocols
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
What You Need
Required:
  • ABRET certification, BLS certification, R.EEG T certification
  • Minimum 2 years clinical neurodiagnostic experience
  • Ability to work 5 x 8 days during initial training period
  • Comfort working with diverse patient populations and floating between units
  • Experience with collodion/glue EEG hook-upPreferred:
  • Experience in neurodiagnostic procedures such as sEEG, Ictal SPECT, trauma, or critical care
  • About the Assignment:
This is a short-term contract assignment at a reputable acute care hospital in Indianapolis. The role involves working night shifts in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, neurotelemetry, and associated protocols, with opportunities to gain diverse experience in neurodiagnostics and critical care environments.
