Description: Produce the World's Best Bovine Genetics Select Sires, Inc. is seeking a Processing Technician to join our production team in Plain City, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in the processing, packaging, cryopreservation, storage, and inventory management of the high-quality genetic products that livestock producers rely on every day. This position reports to the Manager, Non-EU Semen Packaging and Cryopreservation. Work Schedule Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support production and business needs.
What You'll Do: Print bull and collection information onto straws using specialized jet print systems. Fill, seal, rack, freeze, and store straws according to established procedures. Update inventory records using proprietary software systems. Move products to designated storage locations. Monitor and maintain liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers. Safely move and handle inventory tanks. Detect and report defective materials, equipment concerns, or unusual operating conditions. Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment. Follow quality standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements. Support departmental production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements

Experience in manufacturing, production, agriculture, laboratory operations, warehousing, or a related environment. Experience using inventory management systems or production equipment. Familiarity with quality-control procedures and safe material-handling practices.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequently bend and stoop. Lift and carry materials and inventory.
