About the role
Pepper Energy Partners is a leading oil & gas document management and data governance firm that has digitized more than 50 million records for operators, mineral companies, and land organizations across Texas and the Gulf Coast. We're seeking aSales Directorto drive growth in the Houston market. This role will own the full sales cycle, develop strategic relationships with operators and mineral companies, and help educate the industry on modern records management and data governance solutions.
What You'll Do:
Grow revenue across Houston-based operators, mineral/royalty companies, and private equity-backed platforms
Lead prospecting, discovery, solution scoping, proposal development, and closing
Build relationships with land, records, IT, legal, and executive stakeholders
Identify opportunities related to acquisitions, divestitures, audits, and system consolidations
Represent Pepper Energy Partners at industry events and associations
Partner directly with the CEO and operations team to develop winning solutions What We're Looking For
7+ years of technical or consultative sales experience
Strong understanding of oil & gas land, well, division order, and records management processes
Established Houston network within land, records, IT, data, or operations organizations
Proven success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and achieving quota
Experience selling records management, digitization, scanning, imaging, or related services is a plus Compensation
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.
