Position Description:
The heat treat (furnace) operator will be responsible to operate aluminum heat treating and vacuum furnaces. The position is for WEEKEND shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM 6:00 PM; working 36 hours and receiving a 4 hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 25% shift differential.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operate furnaces Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc. Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff Other duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Heat Treat Operator experience preferred Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
