About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st shift to join their unionized manufacturing team, performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of production and utility equipment. In this hands-on role you will be working with robotics, automated systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and advanced electromechanical assemblies. Located in Passaic County.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing machinery and automated systems. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance. Read and interpret technical diagrams/schematics. Ensure safety compliance and promote safe work practices.
Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in industrial or electromechanical maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Skilled with PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Proficiency with maintenance software (CMMS) and diagnostic tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant technical degree, certification, or license preferred. Details:
