Collections RepresentativeHandle inbound and outbound phone calls related to delinquent accounts through automated and manual dialing systems.Communicate with members to understand the reasons for delinquency and provide customized solutions to improve their financial security.Negotiate mutually acceptable payment arrangements within established guidelines.Document customer interactions, collection attempts, payment arrangements, and account updates in the appropriate systems.Follow all applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to collections activities.Meet call service levels and performance expectations in a fast-paced environment.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a phone-based customer service environment.Experience navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously.2+ years of combined customer contact, sales, or collections experience within the financial services industry.Minimum 6 months of computer experience utilizing multiple applications in a Windows-based environment.Strong customer service and relationship management skills.Experience using automated dialer systems.
