About the role
Overview:
Bull City Talent Group is looking for a hands-on SAP Shop Floor Hypercare Consultant to support a manufacturing plant through its SAP go-live and stabilization. You'll work on the production floor alongside operators, supervisors, maintenance staff and planners. Your job is to keep production running while users get comfortable with SAP. You'll help them complete transactions correctly, resolve issues in real time and escalate anything that affects production. Schedule Day shift,
What You'll Do:
Give SAP functional hypercare support to shop floor, production and maintenance users before, during and after go-live Support production execution: production orders, order release, confirmations, goods issue and receipt, backflushing, material staging and inventory consumption Support SAP PM work order activity: creating, editing and completing work orders, plus spare parts workflows Coach non-technical users through SAP navigation, transaction errors and standard process steps Triage, document and escalate production-impacting issues through the defined support process Prioritize issues by their impact on production continuity, material availability, inventory accuracy and throughput Hold structured shift handoffs so open issues carry over to the next shift without losing context Take part in daily hypercare meetings, issue reviews and status updates Track recurring errors, process gaps and root-cause themes, and hand knowledge over to internal support teams
What You Bring:
Hands-on SAP manufacturing support experience in PP and/or PM, including production orders, confirmations and work ordersSAP MM integration knowledge: goods movements, inventory consumption, material staging and production supply Prior go-live, hypercare, cutover, UAT or production stabilization experience Proven ability to troubleshoot user transaction issues in a live manufacturing environment Strong people skills, with patience and clarity when supporting non-technical users Must be local to the Mebane, NC area and able to work onsite every day
Nice to Have:
Prior plant-floor or multi-shift SAP support experience Exposure to SAP QM, WM or EWM integration points Experience with handheld scanners, labels or other shop floor devices Background in CPG, life sciences or regulated manufacturing
