Lead Electrical & RF Engineer
Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Full-time
We are recruiting for a leading aerospace technology business seeking an experienced Lead Electrical & RF Engineer to drive the development of safety-critical airborne avionics, from concept through certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical and RF hardware design, architecture, and integration.
Own hardware requirements, verification, and certification evidence.
Oversee multidisciplinary teams and external design partners.
Drive RF performance, SWaP-C optimization, and engineering innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.10+ years in aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical electronics.5+ years of technical leadership on complex hardware programs.
Strong expertise in RF, analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics.
Experience with DO-160, hardware requirements, and certification.
Experience managing external engineering partners.
Desirable: Master's degree, DO-254, DO-178C, ARP4754A, DOORS, Altium, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
