This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a culture dedicated to quality and safety while providing innovative and personalized pharmaceutical care.
Position Overview:
As a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist, you will support the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services by managing protocols, formulary processes, and medication reconciliation activities. A key part of your role will be providing education to fellow pharmacists, nurses, and medical staff to ensure seamless collaboration. You will also have the rewarding opportunity to precept pharmacy students and residents on clinical patient care rotations, helping to shape the next generation of pharmacy professionals. This position includes a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications
Required Experience: Hematology/Oncology experience is required.
Required Education/Training:
- Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited post-graduate year one (PGY1) residency training program OR three years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience.
- Preferred Education/Training:
- Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited post-graduate year two (PGY2) or fellowship is preferred.
