Pest Control Technician / Exterminator

Qualifications Include: Exterminator/Pest Control Technician Drive company truck to customers located in NJ / NY. (Gas Card & EZ PASS Provided)Service technician will work closely with management and customers to identify the pest problems and determine the right steps and service protocols. Complete all paperwork and route logs accurately and timely Applying materials to structure when and if needed Face to face communication with our customers is a must Documentation skills with neat handwriting are a must Physical stamina to endure excessive bending and kneeling to locate pests in hard-to-reach areas Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems in the event of infestations in the pipes or chewed wiring Good interpersonal and communication skills when speaking with customers and advising on treatment methods Exhibition of strong attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment procedures Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trends Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests Setting traps for rodents (mice & rats)Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for ants and other general insects. Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests Using bait to eliminate rats and mice Covering holes with mesh/excluder to hinder rodent entry Recommending products and services for effective pest control Show a stable work history Work independently and in teams Be comfortable working with insect and rodent pests in a variety of conditions and confined spaces Ability to read and understand product labels in English

Requirements: Reference and background check (required)
