About the Opportunity:
We are seeking laboratory professionals with hands-on expertise in blood gas testing operations and workflows. This consultation involves sharing your expertise on testing procedures, quality control, operational challenges, and decision-making processes—or with potential to inform—how blood gas testing workflows and equipment can be improved. Your insights will help us understand laboratory practices, identify bottlenecks, and explore opportunities for streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. This is a flexible consulting engagement that can be completed alongside full-time employment. Time commitment is based entirely on your availability and schedule.
Relevant Experience:
Performing blood gas testing, sample preparation, or analyzer operation in clinical laboratory settings. Operating blood gas analyzers and managing result review, reporting, and quality control processes. Supervising or managing blood gas testing operations and laboratory workflows. Understanding practical challenges, task prioritization, and troubleshooting in blood gas testing. Addressing equipment issues, quality assurance failures, or workflow disruptions. Collaborating with laboratory teams on testing protocols, quality standards, and operational improvements. Knowledge of clinical laboratory regulations, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or certification in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in blood gas testing, clinical laboratory operations, or laboratory management. Hands-on experience performing or managing blood gas testing workflows highly valued. Current or recent role as laboratory technician, supervisor, or laboratory director. Willingness to provide your professional credentials for verification purposes.
