Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair on diesel engines. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various types of diesel-powered vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Diesel Technician will work independently and collaborating with other technicians to deliver high-quality service.
Duties: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct repairs that range from basic maintenance to in depth engine repair. Perform heavy lifting as needed to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Qualifications: 3+ years experience as a service technician or in a similar role focusing on diesel engines. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and automotive repair techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
