Job Summary: The Spa Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the spa and wellness areas, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing environment for guests. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize all spa areas, including treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, showers, steam rooms, and common areas. Restock towels, linens, amenities, and other supplies in designated spa areas. Ensure all spa equipment and furniture are well-maintained and in pristine condition. Remove used linens and towels promptly and transport them to the appropriate laundry area. Empty trash and dispose of waste in accordance with hotel standards. Report any maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety hazards to management. Assist with laundry duties related to spa linens and robes as needed. Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Assist spa therapists and other team members with cleaning and resetting treatment rooms. Ensure compliance with resort policies, safety procedures, and spa-specific protocols.
Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or spa experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to maintain a professional and polished demeanor at all times.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift). Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, including linen bags, trash, and cleaning supplies. Comfortable working in a humid or warm environment, especially in steam rooms and sauna areas. Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
