Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Documentation Assistant to support our manufacturing and engineering teams in Hawthorne, CA. This position is responsible for accurate data entry, managing electronic and physical filing systems, scanning documents, and routing engineering records for internal approval. We will provide hands-on training for our internal software systems!
Responsibilities: Perform accurate data entry into company databases (part numbers, revision dates, metadata).Organize, scan, index, and archive physical and electronic project documents. Route engineering documents and change requests to internal teams for signature and approval. Maintain digital file folder structures to ensure fast retrieval of records. Verify document accuracy (checking for missing signatures, correct dates, and consistent formatting) before filing. Support internal teams with general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.1+ years of general administrative, data entry, or office support experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF software (Adobe).Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry. Good communication skills and ability to follow step-by-step procedures. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
