Foreign Languages Lab Assistant Pool This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Posting Details Position Information Posting Number - PT438 Job Title - FOREIGN LANGUAGES LAB ASSISTANT POOL Department - Communications, Languages and Reading Position Type - Non-Exempt Employment Status - Part-Time Salary - $11.00 per hour Open Date - 11/12/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled - No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary - The purpose of this position is to work in the Foreign Languages Lab and perform the following: Assist students in Foreign Languages lab to complete assigned lessons Tutor students in related activities Data entry Answer phones Maintain daily log Other assigned duties Working hours will be within the operating hours of the Foreign Languages Lab.
Minimum Qualifications: 60 hours college credit. Fluent or near fluent in Spanish and/or French. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Knowledge of various computer software and technology. Knowledge of general office skills ( i.e. answering phones, customer relations and typing).
Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree. Special Instructions to Applicants - This is a security-sensitive position.
