About the role

Vice President of Finance Manufacturing (full P&L) successor for the CFO and will support the organization by managing global controlling and accounting functions including the consolidation and financial reporting activities with responsibility for compliance with regulatory standards. The role will require an in depth understanding of the application of US GAAP as it pertains to general accounting and financial statement preparation.
Responsibilities: Provide excellent financial decision support to both financial and executive leadership Working with the established and experienced team to create accurate and timely period financial statements, forecasts and budgets. Ensure compliance with US GAAP for all reporting entities Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance while promoting collaboration, accountability, and a growth mindset within the finance team. Able to maneuver fast paced environment Implement improved and more efficient processes and controls. Will be part of team charged with upgrading and standardizing procedures for entire global organization.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in BA, Finance, Accounting, or related field 10 years of work experience as a Controller in a manufacturing business with at least 5+ years supervising a team Experience gained in public accounting or other professional services firm is a plus Experience as a Controller in a public company – preferably mid-cap is a plus Excellent written and oral communications skills focused on financial management Demonstrable attention to detail, well organized Experience in managing both domestic and international business issues resolution Experience of dealing with Big 4 firms for audit
