About the role
Our client, a fast-moving beauty and personal care company with a portfolio of well-known consumer brands, is seeking a Global Innovation Manager to oversee product pipeline execution, renovation initiatives, and commercialization readiness across multiple markets. This role is ideal for a highly organized project leader with experience in CPG, beauty, personal care, haircare, or adjacent categories who can manage complex product development timelines, artwork workflows, cross-functional approvals, and global launch requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage new product innovation and existing SKU renovation projects through a structured stage-gate process, ensuring milestones, owners, risks, and timelines are clearly tracked. Own and maintain project briefs, pipeline trackers, launch checklists, and status reporting for leadership and cross-functional partners. Coordinate artwork development and approval workflows across creative, regulatory, R&D, operations, and print/production partners. Ensure packaging copy, claims, ingredient listings, compliance requirements, and market-specific adaptations are accurately reflected before release to print. Partner with Brand, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory, Finance, and regional/local market teams to keep projects moving on time, on spec, and commercially ready. Support global commercialization planning by balancing consistency across markets with local regulatory, language, packaging, and launch timing needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.5–8+ years of experience in product development, innovation, brand management, commercialization, or project management within CPG, beauty, personal care, haircare, or adjacent categories. Experience managing multi-country or global product pipelines, artwork processes, packaging updates, claims, regulatory approvals, or SKU renovation initiatives. Strong cross-functional project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline across timelines, approvals, artwork, claims, and commercialization milestones.
