About the role
Product Freshness and AvailabilityEnsure product freshness and availability by replenishing cases, rotating stock, and following proper code dating procedures to maintain a safe shopping environment. In this role, it is essential to develop strong product knowledge throughout the store to assist customers in locating items and provide helpful suggestions about selections. Team Members contribute to team efficiency by maintaining cleanliness of work areas and delivering friendly, attentive customer service in every interactionJob ResponsibilitiesAttend department huddles to stay informed on daily priorities and team communicationComplete daily markdowns; execute price changes, signage, and tagging when delegated from LeadPerform production planning spot check and generation activities; review and maintain inventory levelsUnlid bananas in morning; water plants before mid-day sun and eveningStock greens wall, fresh fruit, vegetables, and floral department; complete rewraps and Plan B itemsReplenish product; pull out of dates, conduct quality inspections, and maintain inventory levelsClean and maintain equipment and department areas to ensure safety and sanitation regulations are metProvide customer service; assist guests with questions and ensure their needs are metPut away non-UPC orders into backstock; fill and maintain suppliesPerform routine sanitation and temperature checks to ensure food safety compliance
