About the role
Maintenance Technician We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to complete assigned work orders in a professional and timely manner. Tasks may include painting, drywall and plaster repair, grounds maintenance, and light carpentry such as minor floor repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Clean, maintain, organize, and properly store tools and equipment
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and personal protective equipment
- Complete exterior and interior painting, caulking, and light drywall repair
- Support other maintenance tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in problem solving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; able to safely work from a 6-foot ladder
- Positive, professional attitude
