Details Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within a hospital setting Dedicated Stroke Unit with 30 beds 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Patient population includes Medical, DKA, Cardiac, GI, Renal, Sepsis, Trauma, and Surgery cases Day shift schedule, 06:45-19:1513-week assignment Requirements Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHANIH Stroke Scale certification required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care to a complex, high-acuity stepdown patient population on a dedicated stroke unit Radius rule applies; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date American Traveler Job ID #P-752265.
