Conduct a variety of tests and verifications on inbound materials from vendors (receiving inspection) and outbound products for shipping (final inspection).Perform in-process and final visual inspection of computer systems, test equipment, cable assemblies and other accessories in compliance with all required documentation. Perform in-process and final functional acceptance testing of computer systems, test equipment, cable assemblies and other accessories in compliance with all required documentation. Perform and document First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)Perform daily QC activities with in-process inspection, final inspection and components inspection. Document test and audit results on applicable documentation. Ensure products meet all customer and regulatory requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, travelers, and other required documentation. Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Four or more years industry related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment. Computer, cable assembly, crimping, soldering and some electrical knowledge. IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and JSTD-001 knowledge a plus Knowledge of AS9100 Rev. D standard Knowledge of AS9102 FAIR standard Worked in electronics, aerospace or semiconductor industry in the manufacturing or QA department. Experience with common electronic inspection tools including magnifiers, calibrated gages, measurement calipers, multi-meters, etc. Strong attention to details, hard-working, good communication skills, and team player Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications. Perform basic mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills. Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment. Able to work in a fast pace & ever-changing environment. Must be able to stand long periods of time, on occasions. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.), a must.
