About the role

Position Summary: A leading organization in industrial automation and mobile robotics is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and validation of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and related automation technologies. The Test Technician will work closely with Engineering and technical teams to ensure electronic assemblies, robotic vehicles, and integrated systems meet established performance, reliability, quality, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Test electronic assemblies prior to integration into higher-level systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and validate electronic components and assemblies. Power up, configure, and prepare AGVs for functional and performance testing. Perform vehicle testing in simulated customer environments. Support Engineering with test-track configuration, setup, and validation. Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, networking, and system-level issues. Identify, document, and communicate technical issues to Engineering. Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Collect and document test data using diagnostic and measurement equipment. Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict production and shipment schedules. Verify that finished products meet established quality, performance, and reliability standards. Perform additional technical responsibilities as assigned. Required
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical or trade-school education is beneficial.1–3 years of experience in electronics, testing, troubleshooting, manufacturing, automation, or a related technical field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems. Basic understanding of IP addressing and computer networking. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with electronic test equipment, including digital multimeters and oscilloscopes. Experience working with sensors, gauges, and other measurement devices. Strong hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Preferred: SkillsExperience with robotics, AGVs, industrial automation, or material-handling systems. Experience with electrical and electronic assembly. Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation technology. Experience performing system-level testing and debugging. Ability to analyze technical problems logically and systematically. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
