About the role
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Risk and Compliance Associate will apply IT risk management frameworks to enhance cybersecurity practices, conduct risk assessments, and support third-party risk management initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Monitoring cybersecurity risks and recommending mitigation strategies across various domains
Conducting compliance gap analyses and producing actionable reports to highlight risks and remediation steps
Collaborating on incident response activities and supporting the development of operational policies and procedures
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of relevant industry experience, including 4+ years in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Cybersecurity roles
At least one relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP)
Hands-on proficiency with Information Security tools related to data security and incident management
Practical experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities and vendor assessments
