Senior Chemist, Research & Processing / Senior Formulation Chemist Join my client's R&D team as the technical bridge between formulation, process engineering, and manufacturing. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in scale-up and innovation will shape the future of personal care products, from bench concept to production reality. You'll be the go-to expert solving the challenges that others can't crack. Why You Should Apply Own the technical transfer of formulas from bench to full-scale production Drive meaningful innovation through focused research on novel processing methods and mineral actives Serve as the subject matter expert on ingredient behavior, dispersion, and scale-up Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Regulatory, Marketing, and Operations leadership
What You'll Be Doing: Leading tech transfers and scale-up trials for customer and internal formulas Troubleshooting emulsification, stability, and mixing challenges alongside compounding teams Researching dispersants, emulsifiers, and raw material innovations Partnering with suppliers to stay ahead of emerging ingredient technologies Developing internal best-practice guidelines for broader R&D adoption
About You: Be able to do the job as described. Deep expertise in emulsion chemistry and pigment dispersion Hands-on knowledge of zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, and mineral UV filters Experience formulating SPF and OTC products under global regulatory frameworks Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering We'd love to see your resume, but we don't need it to have a conversation.
