The organization is currently seeking a Vice President, Communications to play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic vision for both internal and external communications. This includes setting the brand and narrative as a leading voice in the K-12 education reform sector, leading the development of public-facing materials, and managing the organization's reputation with national partners and the broader education reform field. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong media relationships, driving a proactive earned media strategy, and preparing spokespeople for various engagements. Additionally, the role involves crisis communications, budget management, and fostering strong relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders. Candidates for the Vice President, Communications position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in strategic communications, media relations, or public affairs, with a proven track record in these areas. The role requires an individual with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and external vendors.
