This pivotal role is not focused on technology per se, but on the business leadership aspect of defining and executing AI initiatives that will create a competitive edge, drive operational excellence, and accelerate the development and commercialization of life-changing therapies. The successful candidate will be expected to lead enterprise AI workstreams, shape the thinking of senior stakeholders, and develop the next generation of AI-enabled capabilities and talent. This includes defining the AI strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value AI use cases, and translating business priorities into AI product strategies that can be scaled across various functions and regions. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a strong educational background, with an MBA, MS, or PhD required, and an advanced degree in a quantitative or life sciences discipline being a plus. Experience is also a key factor, with a preference for those who have worked in top-tier strategy consulting with a focus on AI and digital transformation, or in enterprise AI strategy, data science leadership, or digital transformation within biopharma or life sciences. The role demands a deep understanding of modern AI technologies and the ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy.
