About the role
Supporting the BOCES of New York, the remote New York State Account Executive will manage the entire sales lifecycle, build relationships with school district decision-makers, and drive the adoption of Newsela's educational products.
Key responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at school districts to promote and sell Newsela's suite of products
Manage pipeline, forecasting, and lead generation campaigns while collaborating with other departments
Employ solution-based selling techniques to secure agreements and represent the company in the market
Required qualifications:
2+ years of full-cycle sales experience specifically in K-12 EdTech products to school districts in New York State
Experience working with school districts through BOCES regional offices
Deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape, including funding and state initiatives
Proficient in MEDDPICC sales methodology
Legally authorized to work in the US and willing to travel as needed
