Munson Healthcare Neurology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cognitive/Behavioral Neurologist to join our well-established and growing neuroscience team in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a neurologist who wants to combine outstanding clinical practice with the opportunity to lead and develop a Comprehensive Cognitive Clinic serving Northern Michigan. Fellowship training in cognitive/behavioral neurology is preferred; however, we also welcome general neurologists with a strong clinical interest and experience in cognitive neurology.
You will join a collaborative outpatient neurology practice that includes six neurologists, two physician assistants, and a neuropsychologist, supported by excellent nursing, clinical, and clerical staff and integrated within a multidisciplinary neuroscience program with a robust hospital-based team.

The Opportunity:
This hospital-employed position is primarily focused on outpatient cognitive and behavioral neurology and offers the opportunity to shape the future of cognitive neurological care across Northern Michigan.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cognitive and behavioral neurological disorders while helping develop an integrated, comprehensive approach to diagnosis, treatment, longitudinal care, and patient and family support.
Our multidisciplinary neuroscience program provides strong inpatient and specialty support, allowing the cognitive neurologist to focus primarily on outpatient specialty care while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues throughout the neuroscience service line.
This position is well suited for a physician interested in both clinical excellence and program development, with opportunities to help define clinical pathways, strengthen multidisciplinary partnerships, expand regional access, and grow cognitive neurology services over time.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency or equivalent
Fellowship training in cognitive/behavioral neurology preferred
General neurologists with demonstrated interest or experience in cognitive neurology are also encouraged to apply
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Michigan
New graduates and experienced neurologists are welcome
