About the role

AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join their inpatient rehabilitation team in Northwest Georgia. In this role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from stroke, neurologic disorders, orthopedic conditions, traumatic injuries, and medical debility. Responsibilities: Provide medical management of inpatient rehabilitation patients Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and ongoing assessments Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, including therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and specialists Perform daily patient rounding and oversee rehabilitation treatment plans Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care Develop individualized care plans focused on functional recovery and patient-centered outcomes Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development Compensation Competitive Compensation Sign-on bonus

Requirements: MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine preferred (or equivalent procedural experience) Eligible for or active Georgia medical license DEA license (or ability to obtain) Experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient interventional pain settings (preferred) Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
