Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, within the following schedule: M-F 3:30-8:30pm, Saturday 9a-4pm, and Sunday 12:30-4p. As the Facility Assistant, you will work with Creative Greensboro staff, tenants and community partners to provide room access, equipment for classes and events, and customer service support. By managing the reception desk, the Facility Assistant will interact with public visitors of the facility and provide general building and event information. The Facility Assistant will also work alongside facility security, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to proactively address day-to-day issues, including ensuring room cleanliness and organization. The Facility Assistant will also be responsible for other administrative and light maintenance duties as assigned. As a member of the Creative Greensboro team, the Facility Assistant will work an average of 10-15 hours per week during afternoon, evening and/or weekend hours within the schedule of Monday-Friday 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday: 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The physical duties of the job are walking, kneeling, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time and lifting and carrying moderate to heavy materials (up to 40lbs). This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards ActMinimum Qualifications:High school Diploma OR GEDProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft ExcelAt least 1-2 years of professional experience in a position with customer service responsibilities.Preferred Qualifications:Pursuing or holds an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Cultural Arts or related field
