About the role
Seeking a California Licensed Toxicologist, the part-time independent contractor will conduct evidence-based medical reviews and utilization reviews remotely, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct independent, evidence-based medical reviews and utilization reviews
Review patient records and related documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines
Provide objective, high-quality reports within turnaround timelines
Required qualifications:
Active board certification in toxicology
Current, unrestricted U.S. state medical license; California licensure preferred
Engaged in clinical practice for 20 hours/week or more
Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred but not required
Strong written communication skills and ability to document findings clearly
