Schedule: Sunday night – Thursday night | 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay: $18.11/hrWe are looking for Overnight Assembly Packers to join a dynamic company. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with full-time potential based on performance and attendance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assemble and label master cartons for products to be loaded intoLoad cartoner machines with dozen boxes, as neededUnpack raw material to be used for product run, as neededOperate print, write test, and cartoner machines; complete refill cleaning and appearance checksFill out detailed paperwork, reporting machine performance and production quantityClean centrifuges and change pucks as neededComplete training with new machinery and SOP as and when requiredInspect and recognize bad or defective raw materialsConstantly inspect finished product as it is being printed or packed to ensure qualityHelp with rework as needed; clean machine residue and perform minor troubleshooting as neededKeep up to date with product codes and their descriptions to ensure accuracy of finished productPerform packaging tasks in Blister and Display departments as neededWork extended shifts and/or weekends when necessary, especially during peak production seasonsEnsure workspace and surrounding work areas are neat and clean during and at the end of the shiftSKILLS REQUIRED:Speak and comprehend direction and feedback as articulated in EnglishMust be conscientious, dependable, and detail-orientedDexterity skills are requiredTRADITIONAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ACTIVITIES:Must be able to lift up to 32 poundsFrequent bending and standing for extended periods of timeJob Type: Full-timeExperience: Packing: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Jacksonville, FL 32224 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Jacksonville, FL 32224: Relocate before starting work (Required)
