About the role
Shipping And Receiving Driver A local company is seeking an individual who will handle shipping and receiving duties, as well as driving to make delivery and pick-ups. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate box truck throughout Northeast OhioComplete scheduled deliveries and pickups while meeting customer and production deadlinesLoad, unload, and secure materials to ensure safe transportationInspect Company vehicles, complete routine vehicle inspections, maintain maintenance logs, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concernsVerify delivery documentation and maintain accurate delivery recordsManage delivery management systems TrackPODCommunicate professionally with clients, vendors, postal employees, and co-workersAssist the Shipping and Receiving Department with loading, unload, and other department activities as neededMaintain a safe work environment and comply with all company safety and security procedures
