About the role
$30B+ AUM multi-strat asset management firm in NYC is looking to hire a Fund Accountant to support their private investments and venture capital funds. Firm Details:$30B+ AUMNew York City2000 investment team & support professionals4x a week in office, Fridays remote
Qualifications:
- 1-6 years of Big 4 experience
- Private Equity or Hedge Fund experience
- Perform in a face-paced, entrepreneurial environment$115K-$125K base + bonus
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports and daily management reporting
- Calculate and allocate monthly investor returns, including management fees and incentive fees.
- Coordinate with external fund administrators on accounting, reporting, and fund-related matters.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Assist with the management and administration of multiple investment vehicles across various funds, including reconciliations and expense allocations.
- Support the Investor Relations team and other internal departments by compiling data, addressing ad-hoc requests, and responding to investor inquiries.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop, implement, and maintain reporting tools designed to improve transparency, efficiency, and accuracy across reporting processes.
