Regional Director of Operations - HVAC & Plumbing Location: Dallas, TX or Mid-Atlantic region (open to either)Travel: 75%+Compensation: $200,000 base + bonus (up to 40–50%) + equity eligibility for the right candidate Reports to: VP of OperationsAbout the OpportunityOur client is a fast-growing, multi-brand residential and commercial home services platform operating across the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades. Backed by a strong growth strategy built on both organic expansion and acquisition, the company is scaling rapidly and building out its regional leadership bench to support that growth. This search is being run confidentially on behalf of the client, and the company name will be shared with candidates who progress in the process.This is a newly created leadership role, reflecting the company's inflection point as it continues to expand its branch footprint and needs additional regional oversight to support that trajectory.The RoleAs Regional Director of Operations, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of branches, with the scope and structure of your region shaped around your strengths as the team gets to know your capabilities. In the early stages, you can expect to:Support key strategic initiatives across the business, acting as a hands-on operator who can flex into different branches and situations as neededTake on operational leadership of branches following completion of the acquisition/integration process (a dedicated integration team handles the M&A and onboarding phase - you'll pick things up once a location is fully integrated)Partner with General Managers (your direct reports) to drive performance, accountability, and culture at the branch levelHelp build and scale processes as the company continues to add locations through acquisitionOver time, this role is expected to grow in scope as the company continues to add branches and regions.What We're Looking ForMulti-branch operational leadership experience within the HVAC and/or plumbing trades (residential and/or commercial) this is a must!Hands-on experience running branch-level P&L, ideally at scale across multiple locationsA track record of building culture, accountability, and process discipline within teamsComfort with a high-travel role (75%+) supporting a multi-state portfolio of branchesFlexibility and resilience - comfortable stepping into ambiguous, evolving situations as the company scalesCompensation & BenefitsBase salary in the region of $200,000Performance bonus (target range roughly 40–50%)Equity eligibility for the right candidateRelocation support may be available for the right candidateInterested, or know someone who might be?
