About the role

Support a production team or organization integrated with the Boeing Production System Work within a 5-10-person team under the guidance of a team lead Find ways to reduce risks and improve safety, quality, cost, and flow Reduce or eliminate safety and ergonomic issues Improve quality defect trends Analyze performance against daily schedules or orders Reduce non-value-added work Create and maintain operating plans, including flows and positioning Develop scenario plans Assess readiness to execute Build disruption recovery plans while mitigating downstream impacts and milestone impacts Work in a factory or on the flightline across office and production environments Adhere to PPE requirements for the work area Participate in milestone check-ins with the team lead and manager Review programs and work locations during pre-onboarding Participate in informational sessions, networking events, mentoring mixers, team-building activities, and facility tours Requirements Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027 Currently enrolled at a college or university Expected graduation date on or after August 2027 Must be a “US Person” under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 for Export Control compliance Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee Ability to relocate and work onsite GPA of 3.0 or above preferred Majoring in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Operations, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Programming, Information Technology, or a related field preferred Previous internships, work experience, or student/civic organization involvement preferred Passion for the aerospace industry preferred Ability to telecommute preferred Preferred skills in project management, data analysis, supply chain management, information technology, SQL/programming, and related areas Must comply with PPE requirements in the assigned work area Some positions may require ability to obtain access to a NASA facility Some positions may be safety sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol testing Employer will not sponsor employment visa status Security clearance is not required Core Competencies Demonstrates strong capabilities in project management, data analysis, and supply chain management while adhering to safety and quality standards in production environments. Proficient in developing operating plans and assessing execution readiness within a team-oriented setting.
