Title: Physician/Geriatrician (Locums/Contract)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 60 days Compensation: $150/hr (W2 or 1099 option)
Physician Overview: The Physician serves as a health-care professional and capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. The Physician work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Physician Repsonsibilities The physician is expected to: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care. Diagnose and manage moderate-to-complex medical conditions. Manage chronic disease in older adults. Coordinate referrals and work with specialists. Participate in quality-improvement initiatives. Work with an interdisciplinary care team. Exercise independent clinical judgment. Maintain medical records/documentation. Help manage Advanced Practice Providers (NPs) in the assigned clinic.
Required Qualifications: Indiana DO/MD License Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university Prefer Internal Medicine specialty Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine This role is considered patient facing and is part of the facility's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
