SUMMARY:
Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, and material handling equipment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and weldingLay out, position, align, and fit components togetherGrind welds to required finishBolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for weldingSet up equipment and weld parts, using manual gas metal arc welding (GMAW), manual gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and Flux cored arc welding (FCAW) Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts QUALIFICATIONS Minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredTwo years of experience blueprint reading preferred What's in it for you?
