Firewall Engineer -- ContractLocation: Raritan, NJ Area | Remote with occasional onsite visit

Schedule: Monday--Friday, 8 AM--5 PM EST

Duration: Contract

Role Summary: Seeking an experiencedFirewall Engineerwith strong Cisco firewall expertise to support firewall segmentation, traffic analysis, rule creation, and security initiatives.

Required Skills: StrongCisco FTD, ASA, and FMCexperience Excellent TCP/IP, routing, switching, and networking fundamentals Firewall traffic analysis and rule creation Network segmentation and least-privilege security Experience withJira and Excel Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently with global teams

Preferred: Zscaler, Elisity, or Azure Data Explorer Manufacturing/industrial or regulated-environment experience MES/application communication flow knowledge CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar certifications

Note: Occasional after-hours/weekend support may be required for planned firewall maintenance activities.
